Devout. This painting represented a different style in expression. It is acryllic on canvas. The air was dry and so the paint was quite sticky and drying quickly. I begin to paint by dabbing with my brush which left an entirely new effect than any I had completed before. This dabbing effect has a softening quality and leaves a blurried line allowing more room for the eyes to play.. Eagle Prayer. and Loving Green Phallus..

Kokopelli. Here is another Santa Fe piece.. There is a volcano at the bottom that looks like the lone welcoming butte as you enter Santa Fe. There is a lot of blue and black which reflects heavy water and emotional energy. After a while Kokopelli begins to appear. You can see a figure lined in white and black standing vertically in the center of the painting. He is bent, appearing true to his hunchback qualities with something in his hand... perhaps his flute or his phallus. Kokopelli has been associated with Pan, and in that light representing the exhuberant sensuality of life. In the upper left hand corner there is a hummingbird flying out of the sun or the yellow light of the solar plexus. Hummingbird indicates spirit and the sweetness of life.
